Fatty Esters
Fatty Acid Esters are produced when a fatty acid reacts with an alcohol. These Esters are typically colourless and their properties are determined by their carbon chain length, degree of branching and degree of unsaturation.
They are used in a range of different applications, including as cosmetics, flavour carriers, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals and metal working fluids.
