Celebrating 150 years of chemical distribution

  1. Joseph F Robinson & Co. is founded in Liverpool. Initially trading in Kerosene, Molasses and Castor Oil
  2. The partnership of Robinson & Meade-King is established.
  3. Name changes to Meade-King, Robinson (MKR) upon the retirement of our founder.
  4. Commence trading with Shell
  5. MKR import a 7,000mt shipment of Kerosene, the largest such cargo to be imported into the UK at that time
  6. MKR relocate to Tower Building
  7. Incorporation as a limited company (Meade-King, Robinson & Co. Ltd)
  8. Accredited to ISO 9001 standard
  9. Appointment by KLK Oleo as UK Distributor
  10. Appointment by Shell as UK Base Oil Distributor
